Dina Holdren

Diane Khalsa

Diane Khalsa is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and the Director of Beacon Therapy, LLC. OTA was a mid-career change for Diane. Previous to that, she was working in domestic violence shelters and teaching women’s studies and college writing at a state university. However, she was so inspired by what OT did for her son, that she decided to return to school to receive her degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting in 2013. Diane now teaches on the faculty of an OTA program in Phoenix, and she brings a variety of experience and knowledge to her work as a COTA. She has expertise in manual therapy, ergonomics, school-based and home-based pediatrics, and she has also worked in adult rehab and geriatrics. Her passion is pediatrics, with a special interest in Autism and sensory processing, which she has taken several continuing education courses in.

Diane is a 5-time Certified Yoga Teacher and Licensed Massage Therapist, and she integrates this into her OT work. In her free time when she isn’t doing yoga, she enjoys traveling to Mexico and Sedona, going to museums, hiking, jogging, reading, listening to podcasts and spending time with her two children and her dog.
